The said Twelveth day of July the aforesaid Commissioners for and on his ma[ies]ties behalfe by vertue of the said Commission and Thomas Cockes of Colerane aforesaid Maulster and Robert Elliott of Colerane aforesaid gent[leman] do conclude and agree that the said Thomas Cockes and Robert Elliott shall have and hold one messuage or ten ement with a mault killne with th[e] appurten[a]nc[e]s in Colerane aforesaid and now in the tenure or occupac[i]on of the said Thomas Cockes or his assignes [...] before in the tenure or occupac[i]on of Margaret Newton or her assignes and two peeces or parcells of land and pasture called the further Brickhill in Colerane aforesaid conteining by estimac[i]on six acres and three roodes and now or late in [th]e tenure or occupac[i]on of the said Thomas Cockes or his assignes with all waies and passages thereto or to anie p[ar]t thereof belonging or therewith formerly enioyed. And allsoe all that the fferry fferriage and passage upon and over the River of Bann from and betweene the Rivermouth in Colerane aforesaid and the messuage or dwelling house now or late in the occupac[i]on of Nich[ol]as Gill or his assignes being the uttermost bounds of the lib[er]tyes of Colerane aforesaid and all p[ro]fitts commodityes duties and paiments thereunto belonging or therewith heretofore enioyed. Excepting and reserving unto his ma[ies]tie his heires and successors all timber and timber trees mynes or quarryes uppon or belonging to the p[re]misses or any part thereof and all the ffishings and takeing of Sallmons Eeles and other ffishe in [th]e said River of Bann with free lib[er]ty for his ma[ies]tie his heires and successors and his and their ten[a]nts and ffarmers and ffishers of the said River to make houses and draw their netts and doe any other thing else whatsoever uppon the p[re]misses concerning the said ffishings for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of ffive and ffifty pounds of lawfull money of England paiable unto his Majesty his heirs and successors into the receipt of the Exchequer in England or unto the hands of the Receiver of his Majesty his heires and successors for the tyme being for the revenue of Londonderry also Derry and Colerane or either of them att the ffeast of All Saints and Phillip and Jacob by equall porc[i]ons upon condition that the said term shall cease and by void if the said rent or any part thereof shall be behind and unpaid by the space of fifty days next after any of the said feasts or days of payment aforesaid and

And with this further agreement and provided always that if the said Richard or his assigns shall erect or have any cabin on the said piece of ground for habitation of any person or persons whatsover, or that any person or persons shall dwell or inhabit in any cabin or other building to […]etted on the foresaid piece of ground, that then the said term shall cease and be void. Thomas Cocks and Robert Elliott 120.

The said twelfth day of July, the aforesaid commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Thomas Cocks of Coleraine aforesaid, malster,  and Robert Elliott of Coleraine aforesaid, gentleman, do conclude and agree that the said Thomas Cocks and Robert Elliott shall have and hold one messuage or tenement with a malt kiln with the appurtenances in Coleraine aforesaid, and now in the tenure or occupation of the said Thomas Cocks or his assigns […], before in the tenure or occupation of Margaret Newton, widow, or her assigns, and two pieces or parcels of land and pasture called the Further Brickhill in Coleraine aforesaid, containing by estimation six acres and three roods and now or late in the tenure or occupation of the said Thomas Cocks or his assigns, with all ways and passages thereto or to any part thereof belonging or therewith formerly enjoyed. And also all that the ferry, ferriage, and passage upon and over the River of Bann from and between the river mouth in Coleraine aforesaid, and the messuage or dwelling house now or late in the occupation of Nicholas Gill or his assigns, being the uttermost bounds of the Liberties of Coleraine aforesaid, and all profits, commodities, duties, and payments thereunto belonging or therewith heretofore enjoyed. Excepting and reserving unto his Majesty, his heirs and successors all timber and timber trees, mines or quarries upon or belonging to the premises or any part thereof, and all the fishings and taking of salmon, eels, and other fish in the said River of Bann, with free liberty for his Majesty, his heirs and successors, and his and their tenants and farmers and fishers of the said river to make houses and draw their nets and do any other thing else whatsover upon the premises concerning the said fishings for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past, for and under the yearly rent of five and fifty pounds of lawful money of England payable unto his Majesty, his heirs and successors, into the receipt of the Exchequer in England, or unto the hands of the Receiver of his Majesty, his heirs and successors, for the time being for the revenue of Londonderry, also Derry, and Coleraine or either of them at the feast of All Saints and Phillip and Jacob by equal portions, upon condition that the said term shall cease and by void if the said rent or any part thereof shall be behind and unpaid by the space of fifty days next after any of the said feasts or days of payment aforesaid, and
