three younge trees of oake or ashe fitt or likely to grow to be timber trees and the same or others to be sett and planted in the rooms and steads of such of them as shall happen to dye shall maintaine p[re]serve a nd keep from hurt and spoyle duringe the said Terme and shall att his and their prop[er] costs [and] chardges duringe the said Terme have [and] keepe in readines up[p]on [th]e aforesaid p[re]misses for the service of his Ma[ies]ty his heires and Successors one muskett furnished in such manner as the same shall and may be allowed by the Mustermaster of the said county in which the p[re]misses lye for the time beinge. And that up[p]on reasonable request there shall be allowed and sett out unto the said Jeremy or his assignes from tyme to time during the said Terme by the Woodward or other Officer of his Majesty his heirs and successors rough Timber for repairinge [...] and also houseboote in convenient places within the late county of Londonderry to be spent up[p]on the p[re]misses and not elsewhere And that his Majesty will be gratiously pleased to ratify and confirme this agreement by his letters Patents under the great Seale of England and that the said Jeremy shall coven[an]t and grannt thereby for him his heirs executors administrators and Assignes to p[er]forme what is hereby agreed on his part In Wittnes whereof the said Com[m]issioners and the said Jeremy Rose have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The said third day of September the said Com[m]issioners for and on his Ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Com[m]ission and Richard Knight of Clandermott in the late County of Londonderry Slater and William Knight of Clandermott aforesaid doe conclude and agree that the said Richard and William and their assignes shall have and hold all that Towneland com[m]only called or knowne by the name of [...]eebrackin with the appurten[an]c[e]s in ffaughenvale in the late County of Londonderry or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or knowne conteininge by estimac[i]on two hundred fortie and s even acres Irishe measure and all Cabyns Edifices [and] buildinges thereupon, and allso all waies [and] passages to the aforesaid p[re]misses or any part thereof belonginge or formerly enioyed therewith with and under such and the like excepc[i]ons for the Terme of one and twenty years from the ffeast of Phillipp and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of Thirteene pounds thirteene shillings and fower pence sterlinge paiable in such manner and att such daies and tymes and with under and up[p]on such and the like condic[i]on coven[an]ts and agreem[en]ts as in the aforesaid agreem[en]t made by the said Com[m]issioners and Jeremy Rose beforenamed are conteined with this further agreem[en]t that the said Richard and William or their assignes shall att their prop[er] costs [and] chardges within five yeares nowe next com[m]inge erect, build and fully finish up[p]on the p[re]misses one sufficient and substantiall house of tymber stone or bricke after the manner of an English house two stories highe and conteininge fower roomes att the least In Wittnes whereof the said Com[m]issioners and the said Richard and William have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

three young trees of oak or ash fit or likely to grow to be timber trees, and the same or others to be set and planted in the rooms and steads of such of them as shall happen to die shall maintain, preserve, and keep from hurt and spoil during the said term, and shall, at his and their proper costs and charges during the said term, have and keep in readines upon the aforesaid premises for the service of his Majesty, his heirs and successors one musket furnished in such manner as the same shall and may be allowed by the Muster Master of the said county in which the premises lie for the time being. And that upon reasonable request there shall be allowed and set out unto the said Jeremy or his assigns, from time to time during the said term by the Woodward or other Officer of his Majesty, his heirs and successors, rough timber for repairing […] and also houseboot in convenient places within the late county of Londonderry to be spent upon the premises and not elsewhere. And that his Majesty will be graciously pleased to ratify and confirm this agreement by his letters patent under the Great Seal of England, and that the said Jeremy shall covenant and grant thereby for him, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns to perform what is hereby agreed on his part. Richard Knight William Knight

The said third day of September, the said commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission and Richard Knight of Clondermot in the late county of Londonderry, slater, and William Knight of Clondermot aforesaid, husbandman, do conclude and agree that the said Richard and William and their assigns shall have and hold all that townland commonly called or known by the name of […]eebrackin with the appurtenances in Faughanvale in the late county of Londonderry, or by whatsover other name or names the same be called or known containing by estimation two hundred forty and seven acres Irish measure, and all cabins, edifices, and buildings thereupon, and also all ways and passages to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with and under such and the like exceptions for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past, for and under the yearly rent of thirteen pounds thirteen shillings and four pence sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the aforesaid agreement made by the said commissioners and Jeremy Rose beforenamed are contained, with this further agreement that the said Richard and William or their assigns shall, at their proper costs and charges, within five years now next coming erect, build, and fully finish upon the premises one sufficient and substantial house of timber, stone, or brick after the manner of an English house two stories high and containing four rooms at the least. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said Richard and William have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:
