The said nyne and twentieth day of July the said Com[m]issioners for and on his Ma[ies]ties behalfe by vertue of the said Com[m]ission and James Mc Leland of Dumboe in the late County of Londonderry gent[leman] doe conclude and agree that the said James and his Assignes shall have and hold All that Towneland called or knowne by the name of the two Ballistrones w[i]th th[e] appurten[an]c[e]s in Dumboe aforesaid, or by what other name or names soever the same be called or knowne conteining by estimac[i]on two hundred acres Irishe measure and now or late in the tenure or occupac[i]on of the said James or his assignes, and allso all ways and passages to the aforesaid premisses or any part thereof

And shall, within […] years now next coming, divide with dikes and quicksett every one of the said townlands into four several closes, and the same being so made and all other the hedges, ditches, and enclosures upon or belonging to the aforesaid premises shall keep and maintain well and sufficiently fenced, ditched, enclosed, and quicksetted during the said term, and shall, yearly during the said term, set and plant upon some part of the aforesaid premises […] young trees of oak or ash fit and likely to grow to be timber trees and the same or others to be set or planted in the rooms and steads of such of them as shall happen to die shall maintain, preserve, and keep from hurt and spoil during the said term, and shall, at his and their proper costs and charges during the said term, have and keep in readiness upon the aforesaid premises, for the service of his Majesty, his heirs and successors three pikes and corslets and three muskets furnished in such manner as the same shall and may be allowed by the Muster Master of the said late county for the time being, and that upon reasonable request there shall be allowed and set out unto the said Simon, Richard, and William or their assigns, from time to time during the said term by the Woodward or other Officer of his Majesty, his heirs and successors rough timber for building and repairing the aforesaid houses and buildings, and houseboot and also other wood for ploughboot and cartboot in convenient places within the late county of Londonderry, to be spent upon the premises and not elsewhere. And that the said Simon, Richard, and William or their assigns shall and may, from time to time during the said term, have and take fireboot in and upon the aforesaid bog […] as aforesaid, the same to be spent upon the premises and not otherwise. And that his Majesty will be graciously pleased to ratify and confirm this agreement by his letters patent under the Great Seal of England. And that the said Simon, Richard, and William shall covenant and grant thereby for them, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns to perform what is hereby agreed on their parts. The said nine and twentieth day of July, the said commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and James McClelland of Dunboe in the late county of Londonderry, gentleman, do conclude and agree that the said James and his assigns shall have and hold all that townland called or known by the name of the two Ballistrones [Ballystrone], with the appurtenances in Dunboe aforesaid, or by what other name or names soever the same be called or known, containing by estimation two hundred acres Irish measure and now or late in the tenure or occupation of the said James or his assigns, and also all ways and passages to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof […]
