The said six and twentieth day of July the said commissioners for and on his ma[ies]t[ie]s b ehalfe by vertue of the said Commission and James Paul of [...] in the late c ounty of Londonderry yeoman doe conclude and agree th at the said James Paul and his assignes shall have and hold one messuage or tenement garden and backside with th[e] appurten[a]nc[e]s and three and twenty acres Irish measure of land meadow and pasture with th[e] appurten[a]nc[e]s all w[hi]ch p[re]misses are in the parishe of [...] now or late in the tenure or occupac[i]on of the said James or his assigns and also all waies and passages to the foresaid p[re]misses or any parte thereof belonging or formerly enioyed therewith with and under such and [th]e like exceptions and for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Phillip and James last past for and under the yearly rent of ffower pounds and tenn shillings sterling paiable in such manner and att such daies and tymes and with under and uppon such and the like condic[i]on coven[a]nts and agreements as in the foresaid agreem[en]t made by the said Commissioners [and] James Carnohan beforenamed are conteyned In witnes whereof the said commissioners and the said James Paul have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The said six and twentieth day of July the said Commissioners for and on his ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Commission and Walter Downing of Ballicragge in the late county of Londonderry gent[leman] and Brian Oge O Neale of Killilaughe in the said late county gent[leman] doe conclude and agree that the said Walter and Brian and their assignes shall have and hold all those ffower towne lands with their appurten[a]nc[e]s called or knowne by the severall names of Monisharvan Macknaghe Ballinean and Beaghe or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or knowne by conteining by estimac[i]on eight hundred and ffifty acres Irish measure of land meadow pasture woods woody ground and bogg now or late in the tenure or occupac[i]on of S[i]r Thomas Staples knight and Barronett or his assignes and in the parishes of Maghera Killilaghe and Tawlaught O Crily in the said late county of Londonderry and also all ways and passages to the a foresaid p[re]misses or any p[ar]t thereof belonging or formerly enioyed th erewith with and under such and the like Excepc[i]ons and for the same term of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of ffow er and fourty pounds sterling paiable in such manner and at such dayes and tymes and with under and upon such further and the like condic[i]on coven[a]nts and agreements as in the f oresaid agreement made by the said Commissioners and Thomas Hudson beforenamed are conteyned save onely that whereas the said Thomas and his assignes are to mainteyne and keepe two musketts furnished the said Walter and Brian are not by this agreement to find the same nor the like but the said Walter and his assignes are by this agreement to find mainteyne and keepe uppon the premisses for the service of his ma[ies]tie his heirs and successors during the aforesaid terme one muskett furnished in such m anner as the same shal[l] be allowed of by the mustermaster of the county in w[hi]ch th e premises are for the tyme being and allsoe the said Walter and Bryan and the ir assigns shall within two yeares now next comeing fence inclose and encoppice with dikes and double quicksett twenty acres Irish measure of the woods and wood grounds parcel of the foresaid premises and the same fences and enclosures shall well and sufficiently keep and preserve during the said term and also the

The said six and twentieth day of July, the said commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and James Paul of […] in the late county of Londonderry, yeoman, do conclude and agree that the said James Paul and his assigns shall have and hold one messuage or tenement, garden, and backside, with the appurtenances, and three and twenty acres Irish measure of land, meadow, and pasture, with the appurtenances, all which premises are in the parish of […], now or late in the tenure or occupation of the said James or his assigns, and also all ways and passages to the foresaid premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with and under such and the like exceptions and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and James last past, for and under the yearly rent of four pounds and ten shillings sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the foresaid agreement made by the said commissioners and James Carnohan beforenamed are contained. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said James Paul have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

The said six and twentieth day of July, the said commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Walter Downing of Ballicragge in the late county of Londonderry, gentleman, and Brian Oge O’Neal of Killelagh in the said late county, gentleman, do conclude and agree that the said Walter and Brian and their assigns shall have and hold all those four townlands with their appurtenances, called or known by the several names of Moneysharven, Macknagh, Ballynian, and Beagh, or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or known by, containing by estimation eight hundred and fifty acres Irish measure of land, meadow, pasture, woods, woody ground, and bog, now or late in the tenure or occupation of Sir Thomas Staples, knight and baronet, or his assigns, and in the parishes of Maghera, Killelagh, and Tamlaght O’Crilly in the said late county of Londonderry, and also all ways and passages to the aforesaid premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with and under such and the like exceptions and for the same term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past, for and under the yearly rent of four and forty pounds sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such further and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the foresaid agreement made by the said commissioners and Thomas Hudson beforenamed are contained, save only that whereas the said Thomas and his assigns are to maintain and keep two muskets furnished, the said Walter and Brian are not by this agreement to find the same nor the like, but the said Walter and his assigns are by this agreement to find, maintain, and keep upon the premises for the service of his Majesty, his heirs and successors during the aforesaid term one musket furnished in such manner as the same shall be allowed of by the Muster Master of the county in which the premises are for the time being, and also the said Walter and Brian and their assigns shall within two years now next coming fence, enclose, and encoppice with dikes and double quicksett twenty acres Irish measure of the woods and woodgrounds parcel of the foresaid premises, and the same fences and enclosures shall well and sufficiently keep and preserve during the said term and also the
