with th[e] appurten[a]nc[e]s in Boveve aforesaid or by whatsoever oth er name or names the same or either or them be called or knowne conteining by estimac[i]on ffive hundred threescore and ffifteene ac res Irish measure and all cabbins edifices and buildings thereuppon with all waies and passages unto the p[re]misses or any part thereof belonging or formerly enioyed therewith with and under such and the like excepc[i]ons a nd for the term of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of Thirty pounds sterling paiable in such manner and att such daies and times and with under and uppon such further and the like condic[i]on coven[a]nts and agreements as in the aforesaid agreem[en]t made by the said Commission[er]s and Margarett mc Leland and Robert mc Leland beforenamed are conteined with this further agreement that the said Hughe Thomas John and William and their assignes shall within two yeares now next comeing fence inclose and incoppice with dikes an d double quicksett six acres of Irishe measure of the woods [and] woodgrounds p[ar]cell of the aforesaid p[re]misses and the same fences and inclosures shall well and sufficiently p[re]serve and keepe during the said term and allsoe the same six acres shall during the said terme p[re]serve and keepe as Coppice woods from hurt or spoil and uppon every fell that shal[l] be made thereof shall new incoppice the same after the manner and usage in England and shall allsoe p[re]serve and keepe uppon every felling and cutting of the said woods so to be incoppiced uppon every acre of the said Coppices thirty young storiers [and] thirty standalls of oake and ashe fitt to make timber trees In witnes whereof the said Com[m]ission[er]s and the said Hughe Thomas John and William have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The said third day of September the said Commissioners for and on his ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Commission and Archibald Brooke of Balteaghe in the late county of Londonderry Clarke for and on the behalfe of himselfe and of Archibald Brooke his sonne doe conclude and agree that the said Archibald and Archibald and their assignes shall have and hold all those two T ownlands commonly called or knowne by the severall name or names of Gortaclare and [...]ghe in the said late County or by whatsoever other name or names the same or anie of them be called or knowne conteining by estimac[i]on fower hundred ninety and ffive acres I rish measure and all cabbins edifices and buildings thereuppon with all waies and passages unto the p[re]misses or anie p[ar]t thereof belonging or formerly enioyed therewith with the like exceptions and for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the ffeast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of Nyne and twenty pounds sterling paiable in such manner and at such daies and times and with under and uppon such and the like condic[i]on coven[a]nts and agreements as in the aforesaid agreement made by the said Commissioners and Margarett McClelland and Robert McClelland beforenamed are conteined save onely that whereas the said Margaret and Robert are by their said agreem[en]t to build an Englishe house of fower rooms the said Archibald and Archibald are by this their agreem[en]t in luw thereof to erect [and] build a house of six roomes att least as the said Margarett and Robert are by their said agreement to do and an house of fower roomes and with this further agreem[en]t that the said Archibald and Archibald and their assignes shall within two yeares now next comeing fence enclose and encoppice with dikes and double quicksett tenn acres of Irishe measure of the woods and woodgrounds p[ar]cell of the aforesaid p[re]misses and the same fences and inclosures shall during the said terme well and sufficiently p[re]serve and keepe and allsoe the same tenn acres shall during the said terme p[re]serve and keepe from hurt and spoile as Coppicewoods and uppon every fell that shal[l] be made thereof shall new incoppice the same after the manner and usage in England and shall allsoe p[re]serve and keepe uppon every acre thereof uppon every felling and cutting of the said woods soe to be incoppiced thirty young storiers and thirty standals of oake and ashe fitt to make timber trees In witnes whereof the said Commissioners and the said Archibald Brooke have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The said third day of September, the said commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Archibald Brook of Balteagh in the late county of Londonderry, clerk, for and on the behalf of himself and of Archibald Brook his son, do conclude and agree that the said Archibald and Archibald and their assigns shall have and hold all those two townlands commonly called or known by the several name or names of Gortaclare and  […]ghe in the said late county or by whatsoever other name or names the same or any of them be called or known, containing by estimation four hundred ninety and five acres Irish measure, and all cabins, edifices, and buildings thereupon with all ways and passages unto the premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with the like exceptions and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past, for and under the yearly rent of nine and twenty pounds sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the aforesaid agreement made by the said commissioners and Margaret McClelland and Robert McClelland beforenamed are contained, save only that whereas the said Margaret and Robert are by their said agreement to build an English house of four rooms, the said Archibald and Archibald are by this their agreement in lieu thereof to erect and build a house of six rooms at least, as the said Margaret and Robert are by their said agreement to do, and a house of four rooms, and with this further agreement that the said Archibald and Archibald and their assigns shall, within two years now next coming, fence, enclose, and encoppice with dikes and double quicksett ten acres of Irish measure of the woods and woodgrounds parcel of the aforesaid premises, and the same fences and enclosures shall during the said term well and sufficiently preserve and keep, and also the same ten acres shall during the said term preserve and keep from hurt and spoil as coppicewoods, and upon every fell that shall be made thereof shall new encoppice the same after the manner and usage in England, and shall also preserve and keep upon every acre thereof upon every felling and cutting of the said woods so to be encoppiced thirty young storiers and thirty standalls of oak and ash fit to make timber trees.
