fence inclose and incoppice with dikes and dou ble quicksett [...] acres of Irish measure of the Woods and woodgrounds p[ar]cell of the aforesaid premises and the same with good and sufficient ffences and incl osures shall well and sufficiently p[re]serve and keepe as Coppice Woods fr om hurt and spoil duringe the said Terme, and up[p]on every fell that shall be made thereof shall new Incoppice the same after the manner and usage in England and shall allso p[re]serve and keep up[p]on every acre of the aforesaid woodground up[p]on every felling and cuttinge of the said Woods soe to be encoppiced thirty yo ung storiers, and thirty standalls of oake or Ashe fitt to make tymber trees with this further agreem[en]t and up[p]on this condition that if the said Patrick shall not within two yeares now nex t coming repaire to C hurch and in all thinges conforme himselfe to [th]e dis cipline of the Church of England That then if the Attorney Generall in England of his Ma[ies]ty his heyres and Successors for the time beinge shall under his hand in writinge expresse or declare that it is the will and and pleasure of his Ma[ies]ty his heyres or Successors that the said Patricke or his assignes shall noe longer hold or enioy the aforesaid premisses that then and from thenceforth this p[re]sent Contract and ag reem[en]t and the grannt and lease thereup[p]on to be made shall cease determine and be voyd any thinge in these presents or in the said grannt or lease to be conteined to the contrary thereof any wise notwithstandinge In Wittnes whereof the said Com[m]ission ers and the said Patrick O Neale have putt to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The aforesaid seaven and twentieth day of September the aforesaid commissioners for and on his Ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said commission and Donal O Haggan on the behalfe of Patricke O Haggan [...] O Haggan doe conclue and agree that the said Patrick O Haggan [and] his Assignes shall have and hold all that townland com[m]only called or knowne by the name of [...] with the appurten[an]c[e]s in Desert Martyn in the said late county or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or known conteining by estimac[i]on fower hundred and twenty [...] acres Irish measure with all waies and passsages unto the p[re]misses or any part thereof belonginge or formerly enioyed therewith with the like excepc[i]ons and for the terme of one and twenty yeares from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past for and under the yearly rent of ffifteene pounds sterlinge paiable in such manner and at such dayes and tymes and with under and up[p]on such further and the like condic[i]on coven[an]ts and agreem[en]ts as in the aforesaid agreement made with the said Com[m]issioners and Robert ffoster William Foster and Margarett ffoster beforenamed are conteined save only that the said Patricke is not by this agreem[en]t tyed to keepe or have in readines one Muskett furnished as the said Robert William and Margarett by their said Agreem[en]t are to doe And with this further agreement and up[p]on condic[i]on that if the said Patricke shall not with in two years

fence, enclose, and encoppice with dikes and double quicksett […] acres of Irish measure of the woods and woodgrounds parcel of the aforesaid premises, and the same with good and sufficient fences and enclosures shall well and sufficiently preserve and keep as coppicewoods from hurt and spoil during the said term, and upon every fell that shall be made thereof shall new encoppice the same after the manner and usage in England, and shall also preserve and keep upon every acre of the aforesaid woodground, upon every felling and cutting of the said woods so to be encoppiced, thirty young storiers, and thirty standalls of oak or ash fit to make timber trees, with this further agreement and upon this condition that if the said Patrick shall not, within two years now next coming, repair to church and in all things conform himselfe to the discipline of the Church of England, that then if the Attorney General, in England, of his Majesty, his heirs and successors for the time being, shall, under his hand in writing, express or declare that it is the will and and pleasure of his Majesty, his heirs or successors that the said Patrick or his assigns shall no longer hold or enjoy the aforesaid premises, that then and from thenceforth this present contract and agreement and the grant and lease thereupon to be made shall cease, determine, and be void, anything in these presents or in the said grant or lease to be contained to the contrary thereof anywise notwithstanding. In witnesss whereof the said commissioners and the said Patrick O’Neale have put to their hands the day and year abovewritten:

The aforesaid seven and twentieth day of September, the aforesaid commissioners for and on his Majesty’s behalf by virtue of the said commission, and Donal O’Haggan on the behalf of Patrick O’Haggan […] O’Haggan, do conclude and agree that the said Patrick O’Haggan and his assigns shall have and hold all that townland commonly called or known by the name of […] with the appurtenances in Desertmartin in the said late county, or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or known, containing by estimation four hundred and twenty […] acres Irish measure, with all ways and passsages unto the premises or any part thereof belonging or formerly enjoyed therewith, with the like exceptions and for the term of one and twenty years from the feast of Phillip and Jacob now last past, for and under the yearly rent of fifteen pounds sterling payable in such manner and at such days and times and with, under, and upon such further and the like condition, covenants, and agreements as in the aforesaid agreement made with the said commissioners and Robert Foster, William Foster, and Margaret Foster beforenamed are contained, save only that the said Patrick is not by this agreement tied to keep or have in readiness one musket furnished as the said Robert, William, and Margaret by their said agreement are to do. And with this further agreement and upon condition that if the said Patrick shall not, within two years
