said Proportion from three weeks to three weeks if the same shall be so often held And s hall duringe the said Terme keepe sustey n and maintain the foresaid Mess uage and all other the aforesaid buildings in good and suff icient repar at[i]ons, And shall within seaven yeares nowe next com[m]inge with goo d and sufficient Dike and quicksett devide the foresaid premisses into sixe seve ral p[ar]cells and closes or more and the same beinge soe made, and all other t he hedges, ditches, [and] inclosures upon or belonginge to the aforesaid p[re]misses sha ll keepe and maintaine well [and] sufficiently fenced, ditched, enclosed, [and] quicksetted duringe the said terme, And shall yearly duringe the said Terme sett and plant upon some p[ar]tes of the aforesaid p[re]misses sixe young trees of oake or Ash fitt and likely to growe to be tymber trees, and the same or others to be sett and planted in the Roomes and steeds of such of them as shall happen to dye shall maintaine p[re]serve and keepe from hurt and spoyle during the said Terme, And shall att his and their prop[er] Costs and Chardges duringe the said Terme have and keepe in readynes in the aforesaid Messuage for the service of his Ma[ies]ty his heires and successors one corslett and pike furnished in such manner as the same shall and may be allowed by the Muster Master of the said late County for the tyme beinge, And that up[p]on reasonable request there shall be allowed and sett out unto the said Michaell or his Assignes from tyme to tyme duringe the said Terme by the Woodward or other Officer of his Ma[ies]ty his heires and successors rough tymber for houseboote and allso other wood for ploughboote [and] Cartboote in convenient places within the said late County of Londonderry to be spent up[p]on the premisses [and] not elsewhere, And that his Ma[ies]tie will be gratiously pleased to ratify and confirme this agreement by his L[ett]res Pattents under the great seale of England and that the said Michaell shall covenant and grannt thereby for him his heyres Executors Administrators and Assignes to p[er]forme what is hereby agreed on his part In Wittnes whereof the said Com[m]issioners and the said Michaell Mc Leland have sett to their hands the day and yeare abovewritten:

The said nyne and twentieth day of July the said Com[m]issioners for and on his Ma[ies]t[ie]s behalfe by vertue of the said Com[m]ission and Rory O Lannan of Colerane in the late County of Londonderry yeoman and Thomas Haslett of Dumboe in the said late County yeoman doe conclude and agree that the said Rory and Thomas and their assignes shall have and hold All those three Townelands com[m]only called or knowne by the severall names of Artadillan, Karnetie and Loughogge or by whatsoever other name or names the same be called or knowne by ly inge and beinge in Dumboe aforesaid and conteininge by estimation [...] acres Irish measure

And shall, during the said term, keep, sustain, and maintain the foresaid messuage and all other the aforesaid buildings in good and sufficient reparations. And shall, within seven years now next coming, with good and sufficient dikes and quicksett, divide the foresaid premises into six several parcels and closes or more, and the same being so made and all other the hedges, ditches, and enclosures upon or belonging to the aforesaid premises shall keep and maintain well and sufficiently fenced, ditched, enclosed, and quicksetted during the said term. And shall, yearly during the said term, set and plant upon some parts of the aforesaid premises six young trees of oak or ash fit and likely to grow to be timber trees, and the same or others to be set and planted in the rooms and steads of such of them as shall happen to die shall maintain, preserve, and keep from hurt and spoil during the said term. And shall, at his and their proper costs and charges during the said term, have and keep in readiness in the aforesaid messuage, for the service of his Majesty, his heirs and successors one corslet and pike furnished in such manner as the same shall and may be allowed by the Muster Master of the said late county for the time being. And that upon reasonable request there shall be allowed and set out unto the said Michael or his assigns, from time to time during the said term by the Woodward or other Officer of his Majesty, his heirs and successors rough timber for houseboot and also other wood for ploughboot and cartboot in convenient places within the said late county of Londonderry, to be spent upon the premises and not elsewhere. And that his Majesty will be graciously pleased to ratify and confirm this agreement by his letters patent under the Great Seal of England, and that the said Michael shall covenant and grant thereby for him, his heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns to perform what is hereby agreed on his part. In witness whereof the said commissioners and the said Michael McClelland have set to their hands the day and year abovewritten:
